Good morning, I haven't forgotten to put the clocks back, but I can't sleep, been awake since ridiculous o' clock.
It's damp as usual, and the leaves are really falling now. Wet leaves can be treacherous so I go carefully when I'm out, don't want to slip and fall.
We walked to our nearest supermarket yesterday for a few things and got caught in a heavy shower on the way back. Fortunately we were nearly home.
I forgot to buy a wholemeal loaf yesterday so I'll pop up to the little Sains later for that.
Not much going on today, though there's always jobs round the house
Hope you're enjoying your trip to Glasgow Gers.
Dp1, I was annoyed on your behalf about Dgd's school saying her absences were affecting the school's absence record. As someone said yesterday they knew about her health problems when she started. I wonder what they think you can do.
Hope everyone has a good day, whatever you are doing, and thinking of anyone who is poorly or sad.
Take care folks.

Morning allThanks for the start Scarlet and another one here who's been up since silly o'clock. DH was up early too so now it's light he's taken the bigger bouncy german shepherd for a long walk before the rain starts here.Re your DGD DP1. So is the school saying then that their league table is more important than your DGD's education? Disgusting.Curry and rice for dinner and then sitting down to watch a footie match between my fingers (if you know, you know!)Have the best day you can everyone and hugs for all that are poorly or looking after their poorly relatives x9

Morning all early one from me yesterday i managed to sort out the mess that was my bedside drawers and top of tallboy i also sorted through my shoes so a large bag to go to charity today when i pop to Aldi for DGS fruit .
DH was busy doing the spa house (shed extension on a budget) that is being delivered tomorrow its a second hand 2 seater but will do us and cheaper to run than a 5 person one i have waited years for this as we previously had a blow up one and have always wanted a solid one so when we saw this one online from the spa shop i managed to persuade DH that it was right price right time . The heating man is coming for the boiler service tomorrow as well was supposed to be tuesday but asked if he could change it so a busy one for us tomorrow DH is working from home as i need to collect DGS from his aunts luckily its closer than his own home .
Gers I hope you are having a great time and enjoyed the show
DP1 What an awful thing for the school to say your daughter is a better woman than me I wouldn't have held back
Coxy I am thinking of you and your family x
Topsy I hope your son is doing ok

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. I hope tonight is a better one. It looks a bit damp out there but no fog today. It hung around most of yesterday.
I was all at sea when I woke up as my bedroom clock can't be trusted! It chooses when to forward/back the hour each clock change! Sometimes up to 3 days later! So I do it manually and sometimes it takes it upon itself to change it as well and sometimes it doesn't!
It will no doubt be the usual Sunday of Sloth here. No plans in store so que sera sera, other than making a supply of lentil and bacon soup to accompany my lunchtime sarnies over the coming week. Ham stock defrosting o/n in readiness. There is a little bit of ironing too if I cba.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or poorly relatives. DP1 I meant to say yesterday I too was disgusted by the actions of DGD's school. There are no excuses for that. Enjoy your time away. I have one memory of Ayr from many years ago and that is battling along the seafront in gale force winds and expecting to be swept from the promenade into the sea! Take care all, be safe xx

Bella - a spa in the back garden sounds perfect, I hope that all goes well with the installation.DP1 - what a dreadful comment to make about your little one. Mind you, it's a reflection on the stupid criteria imposed on schools these days.Coxy - I hope that your DDad is comfortable.Last night in Glasgow was so refreshing. Another couple of friends turned up so the chat was lively. It's so lovely being in a house which is warm in every room! Now it's raining and windy. I'm looking forward to the Dawn French show tonight. The only timepiece I have to manually change is my wristwatch, I'm still amazed at phones etc doing it 'magically'. I'm enjoying my second cup of coffee before the day proper starts.8

Morning all
Very windy and overcast here with more rain due, the roads are already flooded locally so it will just get worse. Dd is going to see her friend and new baby today I bought the baby a cute penguin onesie with matching hat so she will take it with her.Dinner today will be roast pork with all the trimmings mum is not coming this week as she is away visiting her sister for the weekend so just OH and I to cook for tonight.
The dogs will need to go out later and it’s dependant on the weather as to me going or not I hate walking in the rain so OH will go alone if it’s pouring !
I was sad to read about Matthew Perry this morning he was taken far too young.
Have good days all and take care xx7 -
Morning everyone it’s a very wet one here lots of flooding on the roads I’m not going anywhere but like you scarlet I forget the bread yesterday so need to walk to the Lidl Dp1 that is shocking I don’t know if I could have bit my tongue poor little mite has been through so much oooh Bella a spa how lovely TA I made my soup yesterday it’s all in tubs some in the fridge and some in the freezer I had a bag of carrots and onions given so it was a big pan full Gers I’m amazed at most things technical I think it’s best not to worry about it and think it’s magical. Dogs have been walked and dried off and are all snoozing now I have 3 at the minute mine and two of my friends but we have just had them for the weekend they are going home today. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8

Morning everyone
Yesterday stayed dry so my washing dried - today it's back to rain. I'll go down to sit with dad while mam goes to church this morning then I'll get sorted for going away tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it - especially now had a preview video of our fancy caravan. I've never been to Ayr, in fact I haven't been many places in Scotland.
Thanks for all the concern over little one and school - hopefully it's sorted now though I've spoken to one of the governors I know and she's told me to get in touch if we have any more problems. I think it's more the 'systems' fault rather than school but the head could have phrased what she said in a far nicer way. I too was surprised there's no way of her disability being marked on the attendance figures, but it seems not.
Bella my DD only held back as little one was there - she put it all in an email a short time later.
Gers enjoy your show tonight - I've always liked her. I'm always quite amazed by devices that 'know' to change the time too.
I had a nice long chat with eldest DD last night - she was at Munich airport waiting for a bus back to Nuremberg. She really enjoyed her week back in Stockholm but says she wouldn't like to live there again, as it was so cold.
Redruby - she texted this morning to tell me how sad she is about Matthew Perry - apparently she's going to watch Friends in bed all morning!
Better get on, hope everyone has a good day today x

Hi everyone,
I didn't even get chance to read yesterday, just read back and am outraged on you DD and dgd's behalf dp1. I don't agree with this mania for perfect attendance and fining people for taking their children on holiday, talk about big brother.
Yesterday was Esben's birthday party, it went very well, an old fashioned party with games and so on. It went very well but I spent most of the time in the kitchen and after spending most of Friday making a rainbow cake with Sonic icing I'm quite tired.
Laura and Brian then went to a friend's 50th and we took the kids to a firework display. Today I plan to do nothing.
Have a good day.9
