Do you have a local Chinese cash'n'carry type supermarket? Should have 5ltr bottles of white vinegar for about £4.0

Yes, it's actually The Range who bought the Wilko brand. It will be interesting to see whether the range of stock is different once they're fully established.sarah1972 said:I thought Wilko were back online? Went to Home Bargains this morning on the off chance and they had good stocks of everything - white vinegar, bicarb, soda crystals and citric acid. I think this is the first time since Covid & Brexit?1

I tried all the places mentioned on here, nobody had white vinegar in stock. So I went for this from Amazon, which I think is an ok price. Golden Swan White Vinegar 5 Litres (Pack of 2), £8.75, free delivery.1

I too found Tescos own brand white vinegar during the pandemic and have stuck with it. Something like 29/36p.Did some research that says it's not the same as the cleaning stuff but it does the job with very little smell.I've also found some small independent hardware stores and they are a good source of the 'old' stuff as in cleaning things that have been going for years. Always worth checking if you're out and about and stocking up.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
