Well on the only truly blind-date I went on, she chickened out at the very last minute. So I did see her, just the back of her as she walked away.
She must have caught a glimpse...skint_spice wrote: »awww, too cruel. it was probably due to the icy bedroom caused by my fresh air frenzy.

if it was a blind date what makes you so sure it was her? she probably chickened out even earlier (not for any particular reason just the fact that blind dates are just plain wrong).Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,791

Because I was with a mate, and his gf had been with her during the afternoon (they were close friends), and I was picking them both up in the car. His gf was the one who said she'd bottled it, and which back it was..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

ah well, in that case you aren't being paranoid! but maybe it was the situation rather than the sight of you that put her off.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,791

Me? Paranoid? Pah! I know they're not out to get me. Or come anywhere near me...

my worry is that because they like me and like him THEY think we'd get on. I've got loads of friends who I love but can't say they all blend well together IYSWIM. They are nice to each other and civil when they meet but don't really get each other. I'm still kind of keen on someone else anyway.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,791
