Having played a bit with DDiL's Ninja whilst house-sitting, I've decided that it would be a Good Thing for us to have, particularly whilst there are just 3 of us living here for the next 4 months. Especially as it has the potential to replace 3 other gadgets; microwave (which I don't like & won't use - it's only ever used by others, for reheating) breadmaker (I'd be better making small batches of rolls, as loaves, though enjoyed, rarely get finished up, and I don't mind kneading/proving etc.) and dehydrator (reserving judgement on that one as I mainly use it to preserve gluts - I doubt the AF's capacity will suffice) so I've bought us a refurb'd Ninja AF160UK, which arrived this morning.
I know it can't & won't replace my beloved Rangemaster when it comes to big meals, entertaining etc. but I'm thinking weekday suppers, baking small batches of rolls, buns and the like. So what would be a good cookbook to invest in? - we're not beginners, we've always cooked from scratch & eaten a wide variety of foods from different cuisines. What we need to know is what it can & can't do, what it does best, and how to do it! We've already done (and eaten) the Greek potato recipe from the Quick Start guide, and a batch of choc chip muffins from the BBC Good Food site (Yum! Lovely texture...) Please recommend your favourites & I'll see if the library has them! TIA...

I have the Bored of Lunch airfryer book by Nathan Anthony and Air-Fryer cookbook by Jenny Tschiesche (£4 from The Works when I bought it). I also joined the Fb group for my airfryer, which has useful timings that I printed & taped inside one of my books.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Thank you both! It seems I don't really need any books, just to learn to convert normal recipes as above. Trying out recipes for bread rolls this morning, to have with chicken noodle soup (from last Sunday's roast chicken carcass) to see whether I can work out an "overnight rolls" recipe to suit OH's teeth! (Which have somehow become too fragile to cope with crusty bread.)Angie - GC Nov 23 £410.59/£400 - oh well!: 2023 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 64/66: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)1

There are a lot of products now that have air fryer timeings on. Be careful with the conversion chart above as we had some frozen chicken skewers which take 30 mins in the cooker on 200 but take 16 minutes on 190 in the air fryer.0

I bought two air fryer cookbooks when I first got the air fryer; both books have now gone. One, the better book, I gave to my brother and the other, entirely useless book, went into the bin.As @Floss says, have a look at the several Facebook groups dedicated to the subject.0

My other half bought me this one for my birthday in August. Have used it countless times since it has been my go to. Some great dishes in here!
