can anyone help
i passed my rtitb recognised test over 5 years ago, it is recommnded to have a refresher every 3 years
i am using the folklift everyday so its not law my licence hasnt ran out but it wont be on the rtitb database
ive asked my employer for a refresher and it was a no
if i want to move onto a new job but with a out of date licence will be a stumbling block
will i have to pay for a refresher out of my own pocket

The company i work for wanted me to redo the course when i joined them even though my licence hadn't expired, they paid for it so i did it.0

theres no h&s as such, any problems see my manager, there is only 3 of us in my unit inc my manager

You need to read the RAMS regarding use of the forklift truck in your work place, if it says you need to be on the RTIB database to use one then they need to provide the ongoing training and you should refuse to use it until such time as they may use that against you should you have a accident.1

speak to your union. How do your current company expect you to carry on working a forklift without a license? Unless they have other plans for you0

Not a legal requirement, and I can't imagine them paying just to make it easier for you to leave.
