"Could" be visiting, it doesn't say they will. Even if an "agent" did turn up they have no more power than the paper boy and you can just ask them to leave or not even bother answering the door. From what people have said they often just put a note through the door anyway.

They are full of bluster and do this kind of thing to try and scare people into paying. You can safely just ignore it and leave them to their games, but if you prefer you can send a letter asking them to leave you alone.

Just ensure you don't let them in the house even if it's blowing a blizzard outside.  And have your phone to hand in case they start to over bluster.  Some have a very high regard for themselves and try to bully people - being ready to record anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or threatened can help a lot.

If, said collector does knock on your door, (most likely never will) but if they do, best to just ask them to leave, or ignore completely, they won`t be interested in your enforceability argument, or any other excuse, if you must engage, be brief, and say it`s a private matter, which you will not discuss with strangers.

Do not under any circumstances get into a conversation with this person, they are all self employed and paid on a commission basis, this gives them incentive to get results, so don`t be afraid to offend.
