Good morning, it's a cold one though.
I'm late this morning, We had a late night last night after going to a birthday party.
It was a great night, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
No plans for today, hope everyone has a good day.
Take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. It's a cold start here too but the sun is up over the moors so it might get a bit warmer!
Nothing planned for today, so the usual boring Sunday I suppose. Well no surprises but the Virgin IT chap who was allegedly going to ring within 24 hours yesterday didn't!! So 36 hours later I have given up hope. Gone are the days when you could ring with a help request and speak to a proper person and not a useless bot or virtual assistant. Grr.. Their customer service now leaves a lot to be desired. Rant over now!!
I have a small gammon joint on the go so will shortly do some veg then lunch is spoken for. There will be enough ham left to feed me over the next couple of days and the stock will go in the freezer for my next soup making day.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need. Thinking of all those flooded out all over the UK thanks to the storm. Take care all and be safe xx

Good morning all.
So pleased to be in the dry this morning and the sun is trying to shine. Yesterday I was in central London playing for my Morris side at a big event and we got soaked to the skin! A great day but so, so wet.
One highlight though was meeting up with the lovely Coxy and her DH at our dance spot at Seven Dials. It was so lovely she came to find me and we had time for a quick chat during a dry spell. Hope you enjoyed your special meal later @Coxy11.
Today I think I'll just be resting and recovering. Happy Sunday everyone.9 -
Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, glad you enjoyed your party.
Grrr to your techie chap phoning TA.
Nice bright day again, hope it stays sunny as I've the bedding in the WM to go out. Also washing some throws from the sofa. The living room got a good clean yesterday and I moved the furniture around but put it all back the way it was again! Apart from the bathrooms to do just before everyone arrives everything is done, including the laundry - lots of stray leaves behind the unit in there and I haven't even got any trees!
Swimming in a minute then some much needed shopping to do. My delivery arrived but the shoes still aren't in the shop so it looks like I'll have to have a trip there after work one day this week.
Hope everyone is well, have a peaceful and happy Sunday. Take care. XX8 -
How lovely that Coxy and Wicked Lady could meet up, it makes such a difference.Yesterday I realised that I had forgotten to collect the order from M&S so had to do a whizz down yesterday. Took the opportunity to return an order from JL to Waitrose. Didn't do anything else there.Later I washed one of my favourite lambswool jumpers and turned it into felt. Then realised that there was a bad smell in the upstairs bathroom before finding that the large sink downstairs is blocked. The half one is OK, the big one probably needs a rubber suction thing, I just hope that the cess pit is not bunged up!A rubbish run of three things, however my thoughts are with all those in the north east region of Scotland who are having a much more terrible time of it.8

Morning everyone
The rain eventually stopped late yesterday afternoon and the wind has dropped. It's forecast to be dry today so I've got the cat blankets busy washing - they should dry outside.
Little one stayed on Friday night - she had to come in my bed as the wind was so noisy at the front and then she coughed all night. DD took her to the hospital yesterday and she got antibiotics for a chest infection. We're hoping she's better to go to school at the end of the week as they have a very exciting trip to Lillidorei, the new play park at Alnwick Gardens. She usually bounces back quickly once she starts antibiotics.
This morning I'll go down to sit with dad while mam goes to church. Other than that, I've no plans other than tidying the garden a bit while it is dry.
That was lovely to meet up Coxy and Wickedlady.
Hope everyone has a good day today x9 -

Not a lot happening today I baked a couple of cakes and a dozen scones yesterday and made half a dozen little apple crumbles keeps the hubby happy all week although two of my sons landed and devoured a cake between them and a couple of scones . I need to make a pan of soup today for the rest of the weeks lunches and I will have you all know I didn’t have any I’m still been good not that it seems to be doing any good I haven’t put on any weight since I stopped going to WW about 6 weeks ago but I haven’t lost any either I’ve got a small beef joint I’m going to do veg and Yorkshire and later and that’s about it . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8

Morning all
Bright and sunny here after rain for most of yesterday, I did not get on yesterday as I felt really rough all day bad headache and felt really sick, I think it’s the antibiotics but they are clearing up the problem so I will persevere.
DD is working a late shift today so just OH and I here for dinner, last night we had cold meats and cheeses with some nice bread and there is loads left so we will have it tonight too.
Ive stripped the bed this morning so that can be hung out for a while, will have a quick tidy through and then get the dogs 🐶 out for a good walk.
DP1 I hope little one bounces back quickly xx
Coxy I hope your dad is ok, and how nice for you to meet with WL I hope you both enjoyed it xx
Have good days all and take care xx7 -
Afternoon all, just relaxing at home now after a busy weekend football wise but 4 wins out of 4 for our teams. DGD was covered in mud this morning, surprised it was on really after all the rain, but we get a break next weekend which DH is glad about, not me- I love it thanks to my DDad taking me from about 11We did have an Italian takeaway last night after DH turned his nose up at the revised offering of stir fry. I can use the veg up today for myself as we are having the leftovers tonight, & can use the meat up tomorrow, so another easy meal for me.Scarlet glad you had a good time last nightIzzy your baking must be good!dp1 hope little one is better soon, and you too Ruby. Well done with all the cleaning Camelot, sounds exhausting!WL & Coxy, nice for you both to meet up.Gers our sink blocked the other week and the waste pipe came off, yuck.Shame about the jumper, I ruined a t-shirt yesterday, I forgot I'd put some black jeans in that hadn't previously been washedEnjoy the rest of your Sunday all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Hi all,
Sorry for the lateness - very late night and was on a go slow this morning. We had a really lovely, beautifully presented 8 course taster menu with wine last night in very posh Kensington. Turned up looking like drowned rats but they didn't seem to mind lol! Despite the voucher we still ended up paying £123 as had a GnT each, plus service was £60!
So lovely to meet @WickedLady4 and her talented friends who played and danced for us all. So nice to put a face to a name xx
Nice day here so I've managed to get a wash load pegged out and dried, the food shop done (back down to earth in Aldi) and some tidying in the garden. Dinner tonight is SW chilli con carne with rice.
Have a good evening everyone,
Coxy x
