I have received a P800 showing an underpayment of around £200  As things are getting a bit complicated/messy I want to pay this now rather than have code adjusted for 24/25  The notes that came with it say that a payment can be made through my personal account. I have logged in but cant see any way to do this. Google only helps if its payment of self assessment. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Edit - personal account says I've paid the correct amount!

    I think that is because a further review has been done and the "around £200" is unchanged.

    You can pay it and avoid a change up next year's code but maybe worth checking via webchat?

    My personal tax account shows a different underpayment for 2022/23 to my P800.

    This is because there is a coding adjustment for 2023/24 that is collecting part of the underpayment.

    The remainder of the underpayment shows as an outstanding balance on the front page of my PTA as follows;

    You paid too little Income Tax for 6 April 2022 to 5 April 2023

    You owe HMRC £xx.xx.

    If I click on this it takes me to a page which says it will be collected via my 2024/25 tax code. It also says I could pay it now giving a link to the payment options.

    I guess if you don’t see this on your PTA then there is no current underpayment. Perhaps the “£200” is being collected in 2023/24 via your tax code.
  • Thanks for the replies. Never considered that 23/24 may have been adjusted already.  Will check and then if necessary will try webchat
