I was talking to a conveyancer yesterday and they said they were going to pause taking on Leasehold properties which come under the new Fire Safety Act due to recent changes in legislation. It appears lenders have been refusing mortgage applications.
Wondered if anyone knew the specifics behind this. I believe my building is below the threshold for a 'High Risk' property.
