Unless you live in Hollywood or Beverly Hills, or some of the more plush areas of West London, the chances of you living in the same area as a celebrity are probably pretty slim. However, Shelter's Build a city website now gives you the opportunity to own a des res in the same neighbourhood as (or perhaps even next-door to) a host of celebrities, directly helping those in housing need as a result.

Singer Corrine Bailey Rae, Channel 4 news presenter Jon Snow and actor Amanda Holden all have residences in Shelter's virtual city and by using the website's search facility you can seek them out and purchase a property near-by. Then you can tell all your friends and make them jealous. Or, better still, encourage them to buy properties in the same neighbourhood, creating an exclusive zone and raising loads of money for Shelter in the process.

Actor, comedian, novelist and Guardian Weekend writer Stephen Fry also owns a property in the city and we want you to tell us where he lives for the chance to win our competition.
