Because I won't lose the house, and even if I did sell it, I could buy a much better one within months.

[Edit - and yes, I know that "if" is doing a lot of carrying in that sentence]

The whole purpose of any British embassy is to help our citizens in a particular country but I have never heard them support people in this way.
Are you sure you are not being scammed here?no it's all real, I've met with governors and congressmen over thereThe trade and investments division of the embassy are involved in securing fundsa baseless accusationthis one thenor this one

I've got to agree with everyone saying it's a scam and not genuine but I'd love for monkey74 to come back in 3 months and show us how wrong we are4

the contracts are here in my possession, I don't see what they have to do with you, again this is not about me proving to you this is real. It's about me trying to get the cash for the next few weeks. I may already have a source anyway

You have a company with a contract to build a dam in the Philippines and you need to borrow £15,000 to buy a van to boost the company's reputation within the Philippines so the van has to be purchased in the Philippines...?If your business partner is such a good sales man why can't he ask the others in the company for money to fund the van? If he's that good a salesman he will be able to spin the reason to make it sound reasonable. I cannot see any lender lending someone with no income and a low value house money to fund a business venture on the other side of the world. Could the British embassy help with funding ideas?0
