2 year Tracker or Fixed - End Nov.

Hi,
My fixed deal ends at the end of November with NatWest. I want a 2 year deal as I have childcare payments finishing in that time so can reassess then.
Mortgage is £175k, I want payments to be be below £1000.
With rates presumably stabilising or going down would a tracker be worth it? Any thoughts?
I guess it comes down to personal risk?
Cheers

The Nat West 2 year tracker rates are fairly close to the fixed rates so you a reliant on a drop in base rates to be ahead in the short term.
On what evidence are you expecting this drop?I am a Mortgage Broker

Yeah, it's a gamble admittedly. I don't have any more evidence than anyone else other than it seems that inflation is stabilising some what.
I think I will go with the fixed on balance, the offer from L&C includes a £1000 fee for the tracker for the same rate.0
