If you took the full PCLS in 24/25, you/spouse could ISA £40,000 between you.
Are you intending to fully retire in 24/25?
The remaining £25,000 could cover your needs up to SPA and possibly beyond?
When will your wife fully retire and when will she reach SPA?1 -

I'm self employed , don't know if I will continue in 24/25. I have been Part Time semi retired for past 3/4 years . I stopped contributing to pension 3 years ago as i have been doing less each year as I wind down. I haven't started drawing yet and reach state pension age end of 2025. wife is 3.5 years behind me for SP. Wife works 3 days per week and enjoys her work so will work on although will probably reduce sometime before SP age , if so can supplement wages from her ISA Cash. I may do a couple of half days per week next year if i feel like it !0
