They are not even worth half of that price, don't waste your money on a home vending machine!

I bought one of these a year ago, and very shortly thereafter got rid of it. They're pretty rubbish. I know it's a quite a bit more expensive, but of all the home coffee machines the Krups Dolce Gusto is the best one I've found so far (£69.99 on Amazon at the moment), although some people seem to think that the milk is too sweet.

I actually went from Dolce Gusto to Tassimo and prefered it, One cup machines are all glorified vending machines and you cant beat the real thing but as an all in one machine and the choice of different drinks you cant go far wrong with a Tassimo at that price.

Next machine i have will be a Keurig K-cup when i kill the Tassimo though.
  • well we sourced one elsewere and just had the first cup from it, personally im not to bothered about it as i dont drink tea or coffee but the better half loves suchards hot chocolate and she cn make them herslef now so i can put my feet up :)

I think the tassimo is a great machine, so what do you recommend then?
The best work is the cheapest as the quality remains long after the price is forgotten

A proper espresso machine made of metal not plastic, that makes real coffee and allows you to choose what coffee you want to drink and not those pathetic expensive pods.

But then wouldn't we be arguing about whether automatic or manual pump was better :D

For ease of use, Quickness and drink variety i still like my Tassimo out of all the one cup machines i have tried. My Gaggia is in the cupboard because it isnt so easy to use and clean but it still comes out now and again for a real coffee which i agree you cannot come close to on these type of machines.
