Credit card / mortgage

All being well I should be able to get within £25k of paying off my mortgage in a couple of years time when the fixed deal expires

am I right in thinking it might be difficult to get a mortgage for under £25k

if so does anyone know if you are able to use a credit card to pay off the final balance and effectively pay 0% for a year or 2 to get rid of the final amount ?

You wouldn't be able to make the payment on a credit card, but you could use a money transfer card to put the money in your bank account and then use that for the payment
    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!

It won't be difficult to port onto another mortgage deal with your current provider when the current deal runs out.

Unlikely your mortgage provider would accept a CC as a payment method to pay off the mortgage, so you would need to work out how to get around that.
