I have an ipa interview next week and one of the reasons I went bankrupt was so I could use my PIP to improve the quality of my life rather than paying back my debts. I would like to purchase a stairlift, scooter and a robot lawnmower. Do you think I will be able to ring fence my PIP to allow me to save for these items.
Bariatric stair lift 4k
Bariatric scooter 2k
Robot Lawnmower £600
I will need to save this money up over a few months as I get £500 every 4 weeks. Will there be a problem with me saving these amounts? If it looks like I have a few thousand in savings are they going to expect it to be paid over to them?

Benefit income is disregarded for IPA purposes, only earned income is used to form a calculation.
You can do as you wish with your PIP payments.
