B & Q/Homebase Query

Hi i know that B&Q and Homebase have days where they offer 10% discounts for OAP i cannot seem to find the thread which show the days, can anyone help please, and also do you just have to take ID with you.

Homebase have a 10% off day tomorrow: went to buy something today and the guy suggested I came back, it's one that's for everyone though not sure which day of the week they do their OAP thingamy. Focus do it too (the 10% over 60's discount), although I don't know the day; for there you have to take ID and they issue you with a card that you have to show when you want to get the discount.

B&Q is either a Tuesday or Wednesday I cannot remember I think Wednesday.
i think Homebase stopped the oap discount but unsure.

Homebase do no longer do OAP days anymore. However they do have 10% days on the last Friday of the month. The good thing nowadays is that there normally have them quite often in response to their competitors actions.
Different stores also sometimes have local 10% days so you might want to check with your local store.
If you buying something substantial its worth asking if they are prepared to offer you the discount even if its not a 10% day. Sometimes they do give 10% discount

B&Q do it on a wednesday, but its only the supercentre stores not the big warehouses that do the OAP discount.
