Santander Green living additional mortgage

Hi, anyone taken out one of these green living additional mortgages with Santander. I spoke to them on the phone today about it and they don't seem to know much themselves.
Its meant for things like solar panels etc but its not clear if you have to prove whats its been spent on retrospectively / if you need to use specific suppliers.
I suppose I could answer that by actually applying but would be handy to know what I'm dealing with before applying.
