    thanks guys, sorry to hear bad experiences with DB pensions - hopefully cant happen with DC as its all 'my' money

    They will be slow and good bad/indifferent about doing admin on your scheme.  You are 43.  The scheme trustees may well change the admin provider at least twice more before you approach retirement.

    They are the customer for pension scheme admin not you.  they tender it and contract it - usually cheaply - as we would all be up in arms immediately if they upped the fees to provide "three rings" customer service for annual peaks.  Which most do not.

    You are a scheme member - data upon whom admin is done about contributions made

    The deal looks reasonable at 0.15% all in.  Not really worth doing partial transfers to SIPPs over on cost grounds even if you felt that would move you in phases to your future drawdown solution - if your scheme doesn't offer it, or not particularly well.
