Instagram - Won a Holiday / Scuba Diving Liveaboard

Hi!

So I entered a giveaway on Instagram from Oceandivetravel, and apparently I won!

Prize is 1 person on a Maldives liveaboard.

Any tips on how I can prove this is legit and genuine? Obviously I want to go! But don't want to arrive at the airport and find I've been scammed.

Their company is registered in Spain. They have a website oceandivetravel.com
But as far as I can see on Facebook and Instagram, nobody has tagged or mentioned them 🤔

I'm not sure about the legitimacy of the competition, They don't have many followers etc.but maybe they're a new company. Hopefully that is the case and the prize is genuine for you.

Just to mention, you wouldn't find out at the airport if there was an issue as it looks like flights are not included so you'd be booking them yourself.

Thanks. From what I can see they are a new company (2023) based in Spain. I knew the prize didn't include flights when I entered, so that's no issue. Just trying to find out if the boat exists etc! Not sure how I find out the legitimacy of a new business 😬

Hi! I won a holiday to Maldives earlier in the year. Which I’m going on next month. The way they did it with me, and this seems to be the norm, is they get in contact and ask for three dates which you can go. Then they go ahead and get it booked and give you a confirmation of booking. I would only book your flights once you know that the booking has been excepted and having booking confirmation in hand.
