Thought this was worth a mention since Boots and Lloyds stopped selling it and I don't know anywhere else on the high street that does(?)

If you're in a pinch and need to shop on the high street, try one of the many vape shops it no doubt has. Glycerin is used to make eliquid, so if they stock any DIY vape stuff, they'll have it. They'll likely call it 'VG' (vegetable glycerin). Mine charges £1.99 for 250ml.

Classikool sell food grade vegetable glycerin, £12.99 for 1l with free delivery. (The smaller amounts are less good value, but they do larger amounts as well.)
Obviously not as good value as £1.99/250ml but perhaps handy if you can't find it that cheaply locally, or struggle to shop around in high street shops.
Edit: TheSoapery has 1l for £8.49, also free delivery, but I don't know whether it's food grade - it doesn't say, so I'd have to assume not.1
