Bought my TV from them, if you get one of their club cards it extends your warranty to 3 years.
On Line prices same as in store, I can recommend the Pride Park store in Derby, where you can also see Premiership footy (at the moment!)

  • Ask your local John Lewis to do a price match with empire direct
You will automatically get a 5 year warranty when buying from JL
Check out www.avforums.co.uk there is a JL price match thread on there

thanks penrhyn - have looked at the card and might be worth getting - its £30 and you get 3yrs free insurance when you have one - otherwise insurance is about £90 - my hubby always insists on taking out the extended guarantees on big items even though i tell him you dont have to....so - this way it will save us a bit...

mercman1969 - thanks hun but, i wouldnt buy from john lewis after having a really bad experience off them years ago - i have since not been near them...thanks though....

Ouch its gone up, it was only £20 when i bought my telly 6 months ago, still it covers any purchases you make over £200, so i guess its still not bad.
