Can I claim tax relief whilst working from home?

in Cutting tax
I work from home in my bedroom as am sharing a flat with five others. Can I claim income tax for use if electricity, gas and broadband. My employer did give us the option of one or twice a day in the office but I usually go about once a month. I understand it is about £6 a week and I need to apply. Thanks

Sound like your employer has an office which you can get to and so no1 -
It looks like you will fit into one of the "personal choice" exclusions from relief. See:
