Does anyone know how I go about removing my ex husband from the deeds to my house ?
The mortgage will be paid off & no money needs to change hands, as that was paid to him previously
He was only still on the mortgage as I was unable to get a mortgage on my own.
I have now been quoted over £500 for a solicitor to do it for me, but can I do it easily myself ?
Or is it too complicated?
If not is that a reasonable price? Another said £900, but I don’t think they listened to me about no mortgage or transfer of funds
Instructions would be great
I have now spoken with my ex & he’s absolutely fine with signing his name off of the deeds
Thank You
