    I've been looking for some cheap internet phones but these are ot compatible with Vista.

    Sorry, might sound a bit dumb but I do not know anything about these internet phones.... Do they have to be used on Tesco package only or can I use them for calling via another internet provider? Says they include a calltime voucher but with my broadband I can get free eve and wkend calls anyway. Please can someone help me with this.

  • hi there i think easiest way to explain them is that they are like mobile phones in that you can top them up hence voucher. You get a landline number ie 01392. Calls between tesco internet phones are free so could give to best friend and talk for free for hrs like i will do. They do not work with VISTA

  • Why do you need to pay for internet phones and the calls when using them. I talk to my son in Australia all the time over the internet, and with a web cam we can see each other, using the lap top built in mic and speakers and it never costs a penny. Am I missing something here. :confused:

    i have got one as it gives you a landline number which i havent already got so i can still work from home etc
