    • Cetraben Moisurising Cream - 50ml:  So, it turns out, when you can literally only use moisturiser and SPF, you go through a lot of moisturiser!  This was only the small one, and I have a backup which I will now crack open, PLUS two large ones just arrived from Boots.

    Some very basic INS from Boots, all replacements as current ones are running low
    • Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Oil Control Setting Powder- 90 Translucent: current one has a huge pan, and I cannot be without a powder
    • Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover 200ml
    • Umberto Giannini Grow Mask Hair and Scalp Treatment: my TBS banana one is running low, so going back to this one for a bit.
    • Cetraben Cream - 475ml x 2: The large size was back in stock, and since I will be using only this moisturiser on my face for a while, I bought two of the large whilst its buy one, get 1 half-price, as it will save me money in the long run.
    • Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover

    A few make up UUs/progress:-

    ELF mascara - looks like a copy of Benefit Roller Lash. Its a shame that the wand was too big/spiky as the formula was ok. Benefit Bad Gal Lash still HG.

    KVD Trooper eyeliner deluxe size. HG still. Replacement bought recently.

    Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Pressed powder. I have hit pan. Im going to wait and see if I can get this to last until Christmas.  I have a small pan of face powder in the No7 Bronzer palette that im using the bronzer from and will switch to that if not.

    Urban Decay Venus eyeshadow UU - this was in the Naked Basics palette i adopted from Emma  it was too shimmery to be fair and I needed to blend it out a lot in my brow bone.

    Lacura dry shampoo. This was a Living Proof copy and I loved it.  Cant repurchase. Have a Paul Smith to replace it with.

    A couple of INs to declare

    Orly Plot Twist set. There were 2 colours that were unusual to my nail polish collection however the remaining 4 colours look like good dupes for other colours that i would repurchase but cant due to discontinuation.  Very pleaded with the price £39.95 for the set and prompt delivery from Orly website. I qualified for free delivery and the arrived the day after order. So far ive tried In The Conservatory which is a good dupe for Essie Playing Koi and today im wearing Shaky Alibi which looks like a good dupe for OPI Dont Pretzel my Buttons. I was hoping that Unravelling Story would be a good dupe for Sephora by OPI Break a Leg Warmer but it looks more grey than that one.

    Ive ordered a replacement tube of Q&A grapefruit cleansing balm. This is mow a firm replacenent for The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Butter.  Both do the same job but the price is lower, the packaging better and applucation easier to manage with the Q&A one. There was a 15% discount across the whole site so I ordered 2 of these and a tube of moisturiser to try.

    Morning all.  Have been away on our big America trip for 2.5 weeks where I didn't use up a lot of stuff as decanted my bigger products into travel jars.  One thing that did get used up was:

    Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate 15ml: this was only a UU because TSA inspected my luggage when we checked it in at LAX, went through all my toiletries (because everything was in different pouches than I packed it in) and opened this and didn't close it properly.  So it leaked all over the toiletry bag (but luckily not all over everything else in the case).  But it's annoying because this was basically brand new 😞
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000
    Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 2017
  • @ruby_eskimo oooh, where in America did you go and what was your favourite place?

    Side note- I have 2 x UUs to report:

    • Nivea waterproof eye makeup remover- already purchased replacement.
    • Boots Acetone free nail polish remover- already purchased replacement.

    I have more INs.

    Emma went shopping on Tuesday to Superdrug so got her to pick me up my ELF concealer as I have windows in my current tube, 3 for 2 off er on so should be good for this for a while.

    i learnt today that Bare Minerals have 20% off their whole site so ordered 2 Pressed Mineral Veil powders.  MRM will give me one for Christmas.

    UU  Green People 24 hour moisturiser and I had a spare in the cupboard.  This is my "go to" but I'm not buying another just yet as I'm trying to refrain from filling the cupboard with products when there is still stuff I can use.

    UU Cosy Cottage Honey and Rosehip oil Face Cream.   This was in a gift box present at Christmas and it was heavier/thicker than I would use normally so i used it up as a night cream and I loved it.    Have a couple more moisturisers to use up but I might actually buy this for myself at some point as I thought my neck looked better with this product.

    Gave away a trial size of toothpaste.  I didn't like the taste so threw it away but fished it out of the bin when boyfriend said he was going away and did I have any toothpaste spare as he had run out.  (He didn't see me get it out of the bin so all good).
    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • We won't tell, @Watty1 :D

    A few more UUs- all such boooooooooooring ones, it makes me sad I won't be having any serum or toner empties for a while!  Unless I use them on the body, which I might do for some that I think might be irritating for my face.

    • Batiste Dry Shampoo - Medium & Brunette 350ml: HG, love, will repurchase shortly.
    • L'Oreal Paris False Lash Bambi Mascara- waterproof black:  There is still product but it is dry and takes ages to put on the lash- it's got to the stage where its annoying me now (it's approx 2 months and I use it every day), so calling this done.  It is a good mascara, but I prefer my Lash Paradise.  Sadly I have some freebie mascaras to use first (at least until I cave and buy a Lash Paradise cos I can't stand rubbish lashes!)

    Have added my Loccitane Almond oil which is in use.  I wanted to add something tgat i think can be finished this month.
