Recipe change alert !
Used to be 99% Aberdeen Angus beef plus salt and pepper. Recipe has been changed very recently.
Now 90% Aberdeen Angus beef plus water, onion, wheat flour (contains gluten), rice flour, salt, yeast extract (contains barley), dextrose, black pepper, black pepper extract.
Price hasn't changed though 25p off at the moment.
If you need to eat gluten free (like my husband), these burgers are no longer suitable.

Although easy to make healthier versions at home at around the same cost but less fat and nasties, the Sainsburys ones are 98% beef and no gluten.2

The best burger is a homemade in my opinion. You can adjust seasoning to your liking and you know exactly what is in it. I buy beef, mince and add seasoning. Make into burgers vac pac and freeze xMrsStepford said:Recipe change alert !

Husband has to be gluten free and has been diagnosed with COPD. Have to try to make producing supper easier for him now. So frozen beefburgers less than ideal but there are lots of things that either he cannot eat or can't make. But not everyone cooks from scratch anyway. As usual, I get chewed.0
