the asset questions is what asset you have.not your partner as she doesn't have to sell anything. I assume you have nothing.no car.no savings. and no joint assets. the regulator is looking for things that can be sold.things in your name or things that are joint.

looking at 6.1 on the guide to bankruptcy, you list monthly expected costs to run the household. and provide proof of these and your partners income, I think the regulator decides how much you should contribute, based on your wages and your partners wages sizes ratios . I dont think its a " lets split the gas, elect, rent 50/50) as she earns more, she would hence contribute more to household bills. eg if she earns 100% more wages than you, then it would surely be you pay 33%, she pays 66% to household bills. and then the regulator will see how much , if any spare income you have left over to contribute to an IPA.
"You’ll have to provide proof of income and spending and details of your spouse or partner’s income.
Normal monthly expenses are costs like rent, a mortgage, bills, food and clothing for you and your family (everyone who lives with you and depends on you). Your reasonable domestic needs may also include:
- house insurance
- mobile phone charges
- vehicle expenses (if the trustee allows you to keep your car)
- dry cleaning
- prescriptions, dental treatment and opticians
- membership of a professional body for your job
This is not a complete list and other expenses may be considered."
