Can anyone let me know what the break rules are at Asda. And are these paid or not? Ive been offered 25 hours but some of shifts are 7 or 8 hours so will breaks be taken off so will be less than 25 hours paid??

I don't know Asda specifically, but if they've said 25 hours, that will be your contracted paid hours.

If working over 6 hours in a shift you are entitled to a 20 minute break, there is no legal requirement for you to be paid for that break (though in my experience they always were). Obviously sometimes a shift will be 10-5 but actually you get a 1hr unpaid lunch break in the middle so it's actually 6 worked hours.
Are the 25 hours fixed? Back in my call centre days if you didn't have a fixed shift pattern then the contracted hours per week was approximate and some weeks could be a bit less, sometimes a bit more and it just averaged to the contract.0
