Casual Labour?

I just feel it to be so unfair that somebody can work next to me and do the same work but for less pay. Especially when it can be proved that there is enough work for them to have a full time job. I suppose this country will just become a nation of casual workers.
You're right - there isn't as much protection as there should be for casual workers. It's all just the basic stuff.
Not sure where it's going, but there will be new laws on this soon. These will give more protection for people working casually.
I don't think it could ever get so bad that we are all casual workers. Companies couldn't function that way, because they need to know that there are people who need to come to work when they're told! Casuals can turn work down, and there is no comeback. If we were all casual workers, and we all did this, companies could potentially be on their knees within days. They wouldn't risk it. They will only ever have a proportion of casual employees.
HTHIf it was easy, everyone would do it!0
