Valued Opinions password reset problem

I had changed my password and then had visitors, so I didn't remember the new password. I asked for a password reset but no email was sent. I spoke to Valued Opinions who say they have sent it every time I have requested it so there must be problem my end. I asked them, why am I getting survey invites and help team emails from you, if there's a problem my end? They ignored that and just said to sign up with a different email address. I asked what if the same problem happens with my new email address and would my current survey earnings be transferred? It's been a week and I haven't had a reply yet. They have manually reset my password so even if I did remember my password, I couldn't log in now.
I was close to payout but I'm thinking of telling them to close my account especially after reading some folks here being asked to provide photo ID before they pay out.
Has this password reset fiasco happened to anyone before?
