Sometimes a coffee treat is needed though. I had one yesterday.
I had all my radiators replaced a few years ago.and I think it's saved me so much as they're the most economical.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Yes I had my bathroom and lounge ones changed and has made such a difference. The ones in two bedrooms don't warm the rooms very well at all so definitely needs doing. I'm hoping it also helps with damp issue in my bedroom so I can use dehumidifier a little bit less.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

Does anyone else find that when you are waiting to make debt over payments that the month just drags on? Or is that just me?
I've been playing with my budget again and I think I could probably bring my credit card debt free date forward to March, possibly even Feb if I stick to my stricter budget. £50 per week food shopping and £30 personal spends should be more than enough for a single person. I just need to stick to my one coffee a week rule, the rest of my spends will no doubt go on eating out. I have my nails and massages in a different pot along with hair cut. So really £30 should be more than enough.
Groceries will be the one but I don't eat as much since doing the injections, I have meat in freezer and some batch cooked meals. So mostly just fruit, veg and lunch stuff. I definitely need to learn to stick to my list.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

Yes, i agree. I can't wait for my pension day each month, just so I can pay most of it out to mortgage OPs or savings pots straight away....lol. Its seems to take forever to arrive. At the moment we are waiting for something that will hopefully get the mortgage paid off very soon. But it seems to be taking forever to happen....lolMaking the debt go down and savings go up

I'm impatient to get this credit card paid off as I know that it could potentially be a few months away if I stick to my budget. Though waiting for 2 large refunds to process is also frustrating but I'm basing what I owe on amount left after the refunds. I know eventually they will turn up.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

I keep playing with my budget, if I stick to my £250 groceries and £150 spends I would actually be able to pay off my card with Decembers pay. Seems fitting that I get paid my Backpay on 31st December the last day of 2024 and what would have been my mums birthday. Could go into 2025 without any credit card debt. I really want to make it happen. Wish me luck!*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200
