  • Sometimes a coffee treat is needed though. I had one yesterday.

I had all my radiators replaced a few years ago.and I think it's saved me so much as they're the most economical.

Yes a treat is nice but not 3 days in a row lol. So gonna try stick to one a week. Luckily my friend pays for my one at office on Wednesdays for picking her up on way to train station.

Yes I had my bathroom and lounge ones changed and has made such a difference. The ones in two bedrooms don't warm the rooms very well at all so definitely needs doing. I'm hoping it also helps with damp issue in my bedroom so I can use dehumidifier a little bit less.

  • Does anyone else find that when you are waiting to make debt over payments that the month just drags on? Or is that just me?

I've been playing with my budget again and I think I could probably bring my credit card debt free date forward to March, possibly even Feb if I stick to my stricter budget. £50 per week food shopping and £30 personal spends should be more than enough for a single person. I just need to stick to my one coffee a week rule, the rest of my spends will no doubt go on eating out. I have my nails and massages in a different pot along with hair cut. So really £30 should be more than enough.

Groceries will be the one but I don't eat as much since doing the injections, I have meat in freezer and some batch cooked meals. So mostly just fruit, veg and lunch stuff. I definitely need to learn to stick to my list.

  • Yes, i agree. I can't wait for my pension day each month, just so I can pay most of it out to mortgage OPs or savings pots straight away....lol.  Its seems to take forever to arrive.  At the moment we are waiting for something that will hopefully get the mortgage paid off very soon. But it seems to be taking forever to happen....lol

It's always the way when something good is going to happen it takes ages to happen. Bad stuff happens right away.

I'm impatient to get this credit card paid off as I know that it could potentially be a few months away if I stick to my budget. Though waiting for 2 large refunds to process is also frustrating but I'm basing what I owe on amount left after the refunds. I know eventually they will turn up.

Thanks I just need to do some better planning and focus on using up some of the stuff in cupboards. Hopefully then it will be mostly fresh fruit and veg needed. My freezer is quite well stocked as well so just need to be more creative with my cooking and menu choices.
