Hello again, everyone. I had a question a couple months ago, but I first turned to other resources, but now I think I'd like to know the answer to this question here. A little background:

I am a college student who worked as a DoorDash driver for a few months to earn extra income while studying. I had an impeccable driving record and never encountered any problems delivering orders. However, one day I received an unexpected email from DoorDash stating that my account had been deactivated due to a background check error by Checkr. I read in this article that I need to discuss the situation with the firm to correct all errors and restore the account: https://www.attorneyhelp.org/guide/guide-to-disputing-a-doordash-deactivation-due-to-checkrs-background-check-error-2278.shtml. I immediately contacted DoorDash support to dispute the deactivation and explain the error.

After weeks of persistence and a thorough investigation, Checkr recognized the error in the background check report. They provided me and DoorDash with a corrected report that clearly stated that I had no DUI convictions or other disqualifying factors.

It's been a long and exciting journey to the truth, but my question is: Has it ever happened to you? How often can such mistakes happen? And is the account restored without any sign of such a situation?

It seems to be a US checking site. How are they gathering data on you? And what sort of data do they hold?

Or are you American and have stumbled onto the wrong side of the pond!

I think it must be the latter, DoorDash is based in San Francisco and appears to operate primarily in the USA, although it does have small operations in Australia, Japan, Germany and New Zealand (but none in the UK that I can see).
