Hi
Has anyone been charged this amount! I pay for the high denplan care. Recently had to have 4 teeth put on a bridge & was charged £1000 for lab fees, which seems so expensive....

Our local private dental surgery charges £995 for a bridge. So doesn't seem excessive comparitively
NHS is £306 but obviously longer wait times and harder to get apps
I thought the denplan packages were designed to spread the costs almost forecasting the work and setting a monthly fee so no nasty surprises.1 -
With Denplan, the fees charged by the surgery will be included in the plan. Anything they have to contract out to dental tecninician lab will be paid separately.0

Lab fee for a four unit temporary bridge on its own would be around £300 , permanent four unit bridge £800 upwards , depending on materials. If they did a diagnostic wax up first that's a couple of hundred .In other words £1000 lab fee is not excessive at all. Without Denplan you are probably looking at £2000 to £3000 upwards for a four unit bridge.0
