Paying into a pension from net income and claiming back tax

I would like to retrospectively pay into my company pension fund. Am I permitted to claim back the tax I paid on the income? Assuming I stay within the 60K GBP annual tax free pension allowance?

Why do you think you can make retrospective pension contributions?

You have plenty of time left before the tax year ends.
