Im disappointed in Iceland this Christmas. I usually bought quite a lot for the festive period but their prices are poor this year. Top iced Christmas cake, £7.50 - it's £6.50 at the other supermarkets (£5.50 at Aldi), small turkey crown £17, wheras it's £15 or £15.50 at the other stores. All these £'s add up. I realise they maybe have more freezers to run then other supermarkets but in the past, I generally felt Iceland undercut everywhere else. They did say they had not had a TV ad this year to invest in prices but I have noticed prices go up more than elesewhere rather than down.1

I had an email on 23rd November to say my Xmas bonus has been added (Your £15 Christmas Bonus is here 🎁), but it's not showing in my account. Just the £100 I put in by 6th November and the 5%, (so £105 total) but not the bonus £15.
Anyone else?0 -

I have a question I saved throughout the year and had £100+ on my bonus card by the end of October but have been told from Iceland customer service I did not meet the terms and conditions as you had to only top up £100 during September 26th and the start of November is that right0

Almost. The email about it said:
Load £100 onto your Bonus Card in one or more transactions between 22nd September and 3rd November and not only will you receive your usual £5 bonus (£1 FREE for every £20), you’ll also qualify for a £15 CHRISTMAS BONUS!0 -
Last Christmas (2023) Iceland had an offer on. If you topped up your Iceland card by 3/11/23 by £100 you received a £15 bonus, applied to your card, which must be spent before Xmas. Bargain! So I topped up on 30/10/23, and checked over the next few days to ensure that my bonus was applied, which it was. So by early Novemember I had my deposit of £100 plus my £15 bonus. I then spent £42.25 on £27/11/23. So the bonus was applied early Novemeber 23 and spent late Novemeber 23, all within the terms of the offer. However on 28/12/23 Iceland removed my £15 bonus from my exisiting balance - ie reduced my card balance by £15. I eqnuired why, and after many promises that I would be re-imbursed, then lots of ignoring my requests they finally told me (on 28/3/24) that I was not entitled to keep the bonus as it was not applied until 23/11/23, they even sent me a statement showing the entries. This is simply NOT true. The bonus showed in my account in early Novemeber 23 as I checked several times over serveral days, until it was showing! Has anyone else had problems of this nature with Iceland?0

All I can comment is that it worked as described for me - bonus applied, bonus spent. The £1 in £20 bonus generally appears 3-4 minutes after topping up and the promotional bonuses have always arrived as described. I do keep a careful note of my balance as the online bonus card account only keeps a log of fairly recent transactions.
If you've got credit card or bank statement records of when you topped up, and use your iceland order history of when you ordered, it should be easy enough to disprove the dates iceland are claiming (that's if it's all online - instore orders and top ups may be harder to verify unless you still have the paper receipts, which I know I wouldn't!).
Whilst the bonus card online history only shows recent transactions, your actual iceland order history (different page in My Account section) will show when you toppped up (if you did it online). I can see a record of the bonus card top up that I made on 25th Sep for example. All of the data recorded by Iceland is correct for my account.
Hope that helps!

In past years I have received an Iceland Xmas bonus by meeting the publicised criteria. This year( 2024 ) I did the same and in fact exceeded the minimum amount. I did not receive the bonus. I waited until Christmas and still no bonus. I contacted Iceland "customer services" by email and, despite their promise to respond at the earliest opportunity - I believe they quote 72 hours - I didn't receive the curtesy of a reply. I therefore sent a letter to their "customer Services" at head office. I received a curt reply informing me that participation in the scheme was to selected customers only by invitation email - no apologies for not responding to my email. I have searched the net for information.and none of the publicity of the scheme mentions this. I did find mention on the topcashback site but it was embedded in other data. Iceland have obviously changed the rules from previous years and publicity of this offer has omitted this detail and Iceland has not pointed it out to the various outlets like MSE. If you google "Iceland Xmas Bonus 2024" you will find no mention of this restriction other than in the topcashback site.BEWARE IN FUTURE0
