Readers digest win afternoon tea and champagne

Has anyone tried this
https://www.readersdigest.co.uk/fun-games/competitions/win-afternoon-tea-for-4-people-with-2-bottles-of-moet-champagne?utm_campaign=Reader's Digest September competition round up&utm_source=emailCampaign&utm_content=&utm_medium=email

From most of the letters I get and the clue looks like the answer should be "teabag"
But I get the letters BGETAE  One of the Es needs to be an A
Has anyone tried this comp and succeeded?

    I agree.

Across = OBTAIN, GWYNEDD, NOT THAT, ANYONE and Down = BAY, ALE, NUDITY, UGANDA, NET, TRY, HAN

    gives letters BGETAE

The answer is a word that describes an item you'd need for an accompanying beverage to the afternoon tea box prize - so it should be TEABAG

Just a theory but I suspect that the wrong box for ALE has been highlighted; should have been the A
