Looking to buy an electric throw and there's so many out there. Can you recommend which one and where to buy? Thanks.

I have a couple of generic ones from Amazon - different suppliers, but they are identical. Both perform well and are actually very thick and warm without plugging them in. They do tend to have a relatively short lead, so you have to be able to sit near a plug socket. The ones I have are no longer stocked, but Amazon has similar ones for £45-60.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

Many thanks for your response! I bit the bullet and now have a Lakeland throw, reduced on Amazon, and also bought one for my daughter. And I wonder - why did I wait so long? No need for heating. Hurray!
