Morning folks, thanks for starting us off nmlc. The exercise class yesterday was very good, it's gently difficult. Afterwards I took away the grass cuttings and bottles then did very little. Last night the rain was battering the windows and is still going. The fields were already flooded after the rain on Sunday and the small river had burst its banks. Could be a long winter with autumn just started. This morning I'm off down to Dumbarton to hand over my car to the body shop for replacing the passenger side door, it'll probably be there for at least a week. Someone from the car hire place will pick me up there to sort things out.Special hugs to TA. Happy Tuesday to all.10

Morning folks and thanks everybody for your lovely messages yesterday. I know time is a great healer, just not quick enough sadly.
Rain here too overnight and set to continue all day, accompanied by gusty winds. But I have just been reading we can expect a return to summer at the end of the month! Can we believe that I wonder.
Well life goes on so I have an Ocado delivery coming this afternoon. Goodness knows what I might have ordered as my mind wasn't on the job.
Have a good day folks if you can and take care xx

Morning All
Very, very wet again this morning, although yesterday did clear up a bit and we saw some sunshine.
So sorry to hear you lost dear little Sparkle TA, you gave her the best life and will have some lovely memories.
Important visitors at work today so need to be there and on the ball, typical it's the day I'm running a bit late!
Hope everyone is well, take care. XX10 -
Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off nmlc
Looks like being another horrible day here, although it's not raining atm.
I have no plans for today.
Hope you all have a good Tuesday. x10 -
Morning all
Dull and raining here and quite chilly this morning, two people coming today and I am not sure what we are doing yet will see if they have any ideas, it’s meant to rain most of the day.
Not sure about dinner tonight I will go and have a look after this dd is working a late shift so she will eat at work. Washing is up to date for now.
I am going through a really poor sleep stage atm I’m struggling to sleep before 2 in the morning so I feel a bit washed out, it will pass eventually but it’s no fun !Sending hugs to TA xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Cloudy here - workmen are busy transforming my front garden. I will speak to the boss about a quote for the back garden but think it will be out of range for me - may be Mr F will pay for that.
DGs J is here and at work painting upstairs.
Plan a day at home. Yesterday I was in all day until we went along after 9pm to take in a food delivery at SA.

Morning all. We’re off to Crossness pumping station today for a visit. Certainly a chillier start to the day.
special hugs TA. Take care allCarolbee10 -
Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
Very autumnal here - grey, chilly and windy. Luckily it's a WFH day so I can hunker down. DD has been told she is 'covering for someone who may return' which wasn't how the role was sold. She is hoping to get more clarity over the coming days and hopefully a contract as she's currently working at risk.
Dinner tonight is a new recipe of crispy bacon and squash pasta. I've a veg soup for lunch, concocted of various bendy veg and some greens, so it's a quite bitter (and sludge coloured) but it's the last portion and I hate waste!
Hugs to @TravellingAbuela and hope there are some lovely treats in your O food delivery x
@camelot1001 hope your 'special visitors' are kind!
Have a good day all,
Coxy

Morming all, thanks nmlc.Horrible weather, rain pounding so hard it woke me several times during the night & still at it. The dog walk was severely curtailed this morning by Herself, went to the end of the road & she was pulling to go back in - who am I to argue! Even with such a short one she still needed rubbing down with a big towel. DS is working at home this week so I have the option to go out for a bit longer than usual , as he could feed her but it wouldn't be very pleasant in this weather.More sorting of hobby stuff yesterday, I tried out a bit of stamping and embossing and discovered several ink pads dried up, and embossing powders not melting so they have gone in the bin. I used a free poinsettia Xmas stamp from a mag to test them all out so have quite a few that were ok. Spent last night watching tv and colouring the images in watercolours - very relaxing and can now make them into Xmas cards. I also need to make a card for DGD for next week.Tea will probably be a flavoured chicken breast from the butchers, got quite a stock of different ones in the freezer.Continued hugs to TA. I read that too about better weather in October - fingers crossed eh?Florence that was a late trip to the SA last night.Camelot hope all goes well with the 'special visitors'.No school pick up yesterday/today for DGS- am feeling a bit bereft & redundant now as I normally see him most days. DS2 can cover more since DGD went to high school which is nearer and she can walk either to his house or her Mums so doesn't need a lift normally.Right better get on with some chores, take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all. Definitely cooler here today.
My cakes got made yesterday but a few got nibbled along the way! I've boxed them up for tomorrow and then hopefully the motor on the dishwasher will be replaced and it will be back in action. I also went to see about my hearing aids, which I have hardly worn since I got them back in April. I think I've now sorted out the problems and its just a question of getting on with it and getting used to them. Hopefully my brain will adjust to the sounds and stop everything sounding so tinny.
Today I'll be walking up into town for a few things. I see our local Library has a book on the shelves that I've been waiting to read so will pop in and see if I can find it. DH is hoping to hear about his new car today; it has been over 3 weeks since he arranged to buy it and I can't tell if the dealership are genuinely busy or if things have gone wrong along the way. We certainly weren't given this timescale when he left the deposit.
Anyway, hope everyone's day goes well.10
