Last wage?

Hello,
My last day at my job was 1/9/23 and i also get my paid for my job on the 1st of every month.
was this my last pay or will i get one more?
i work full time monday to Friday 40 hours a week.

    I would guess they pay you in arrears, so your 01/09/23 pay will cover up to 31/8/23.
    Then you'll get one more 01/10/23 for that one day.

    Of course if they pay you in advance, then your pay of 01/09/23 would have been for one day

    Have you had a P45 yet?
    Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

    Agree with what DE_612183 says. If paid in arrears (which is generally the case), your pay on 01/09/23 would be for hours worked in August.

    I'd add to this though, you would also be entitled to any pro rata holiday entitlement (though this isn't always positive). I'd expect you may also receive this with any final payment on 01/10 but depends on how quickly payroll process it.
