Egg loan the best I could get

Just in case anyone is struggling to get a loan. Here was my experience:
I applied to a lot of companies and most rejected me. The best rate I could get was 9.2% (for £5000) with Liverpool Victoria. I was resigned to this rate but then at the last minute I was logged in to my Egg card account and decided to apply one more time (I had already applied but got rejected).
The rate I got was 6.9% for £5000. It must have been because I am an Egg customer already (I also have their Money manager so they can see all my accounts and maybe that tipped the balance). So if anyone is already an Egg customer try applying whilst logged in to your account.
Anyway I am pleased with this rate and thought this advice may be able to help someone.
Cheers.

As far as I know Egg can't see your accounts with other institutions because the log-in details are stored in a small application you download to your own computer.jhigginbotham wrote:I also have their Money manager so they can see all my accounts and maybe that tipped the balance

That's right, annoys me as I've got a laptop and desktop and have to save all my passwords to both!2p off is still 2p off!0 -

I have just recieved a loan of £6000 at 6.5% with Liverpool Victoria and was amazed at how quick they completed all within 2 days i would ask them again about the 9.2%
