Are the plastic lids and tops for bottles recycled?

Are all lids for bottles, jars etc recycled e.g. plastic marmite lids, coke lids, jam jar lids etc etc

    Generally yes but you need to consult your local council as it varies within areas over whether to recycle glass lid on or off.  Once crushed the non glass items are removed and recycled.

    Coke lids are now attached to the bottles so they get recycled together. Top gets in the way if you are drinking out of the bottle though  :/
