Nearing the end of the 1st year

So I was made bankrupt on the 26th of Oct 2022, that year is coming up soon and my credit report still shows defaults on my report and no bankruptcy.
Is this normal? Does it change after the 1st year?

Can someone also explain if there are things I need to do in October? If there are things to expect etc please?

Have you checked your reports from all the agencies? My bankruptcy appeared quite quickly on mine, and the defaults are slowly updating. It may just be a matter of waiting depending on how busy your ORs office is

Hi no I’ve only checked credit karma. I’ll check one of the more reputable ones to see what they say.

The bankruptcy should be on the insolvency section of all three.

Credit karma is Transunion and they are normally good

Once you are discharged, it might be wise to do a "credit file clean up".

Make certain all accounts have a default date on, or prior to the date of your bankruptcy.
Accounts should be marked as settled or satisfied, and show a zero balance.

Your bankruptcy should be showing in the public information section of your credit file, it will stay there for 6 years in total, you will also remain on the insolvency register for 3 months after discharge.

It would be prudent to take screenshots of this for future reference, as some of your debts may have been sold on whilst you were bankrupt, and although you have no further liability for these debts, any new owner may not be aware of your circumstances.

Some of my accounts are missing off my Expedia report, some are showing as settled, some are still defaulting with a balance of around £2k etc but when it says total debt it’s just £200 odd which is my water bill I pay weekly. It also does show my bankruptcy dates etc on there. So fingers crossed all should be ok at the end of Oct
