Duplicate posts and useless search

Considering that there are so many duplicated comp posts most likely due to the way the search facility has been set up to search on updated posts not the original posts, it would probably be an idea to add a reply to every comp post made

All 8 dupes posted today were posted by one novice who almost certainly does not search before posting. We have always had to tolerate this until the member realises the need to search first, and learns how to search effectively.

Search works fine on original posts without replies.

Examples 1-3 use https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6473123 which has no replies

1) Something that ONLY appears in the title - Search Term "three month supply"

The search results for all 6 examples show that search works correctly in all cases.

In my experience searching for posts has failed, the advanced search has dates for updated posts and there have been may times that my searches have not produced a result that I know is there and have been able to locate by going back through the listings.

If you come across an instance of this in the future, post it in this thread and I will investigate.
