Currently my work pension is invested in this fund, this was done automatically I’m 41 and plans to retire at 65 but who knows.
I really want to move fund as I’m more concerned with performance than the ethical woke aspect.
im thinking I’ve going for and S&P 500 index fund any thoughts or alternative thanks

Firstly I am sure there will be a similar 'non sustainable' fund, if you wanted something similar.smithers1981 said:Currently my work pension is invested in this fund, this was done automatically I’m 41 and plans to retire at 65 but who knows.

If you go to 100% equity, then you have to be prepared for a bumpy ride, so you need a high risk/volatility tolerance. The risk is that if it drops 30% and keeps dropping fast, will you panic and pull out. Keep in mind it is easier to say you would not panic now, then when it actually is happening. Pulling out at the bottom of the market is a disaster, so for many people ( not all) something a bit less than 100% equity can be better.
If you do go in this direction then better not to be 100% in the US ( too many eggs in one basket) and it is usually recommended to have a global tracker, which is typically 60/65% in the US markets.1
