Hi all
Lowell have sent me a letter for a Vanquis card debt from over 11 years ago? i checked my credit file and have no record of it at all
It say 'Please let us know how you'll be paying your Vanquis account as soon as possible' they said that they will keep contacting me and may pass account to a 3rd party
What is going on??

Put Lowell in the search for this forum and you will find you are not alone.
They are scraping the bottom of the barrel in the hope some people will fall for their threats and pay up.
Unless you receive a letter before action ( unlikely ) file their letters in the bin.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1 -
You could send a statute barred letter, as it almost certainly is, but TBH the advice above is equally effective.0

Is the Debitas (Debt collection) thread still around? I seem to remember the guy started billing them for wasting his time, they didn't pay. he took them to small claims court and won.
