Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Getting light, damp underfoot, but temperature feels cooler.
Dinner last night was LO roast, new pots, veg, LO yorkshires and gravy. Tonight will be gammon, egg and chips/gammon.
Short day at work, but busy afternoon.

Morning All
Glorious weather yesterday, wall to wall blue skies and bright sunshine. Today is dry and bright, hope we have the same, it really cheers me up!
Thanks for your support after my moan about work - yesterday was better, both parents were spoken to by the head, not sure of the outcome yet but I did get an apology from one which I graciously ignored, can't even look at her. I think I was mostly upset that the abusive and foul language was being thrown at me whilst there were children around. I'm usually on my own at the office at 3pm but there were a few members of staff turned up in case it all kicked off again - I do love my colleagues!
Lots to do at work today, there's an event on this evening so need to get everything ready for that - I would imagine someone will have to go out for the tea and biscuits as Management won't have thought of that.
It's the little one's 4th birthday today, not sure where that time has gone at all. They are at Alton Towers today for her birthday treat then going to see DD's Grandparents tomorrow.
Glad you enjoyed your exercise class Gers, you're turning into quite the Gym Bunny!
Hope the weather cheers up for you TA.
Hugs to those in need.
Have a good day, take care. XX8 -
Good morning from East Linton. The hotel is like something from past ages but is more than adequate for two nights stay. The drive here was surprisingly easy. I stopped at a large garden centre (D) for coffee and cake. Great coffee, terrible cake. 😀 We're off this morning to the museum of flight. I said yesterday that my friend flew in the war - he didn't! He's not old enough.Camelot - let's hope that behaviour has changed! Happy Birthday to your gorgeous wee one.Happy Wednesday to all.8

Good morning, it's a fine, if a bit chilly, start to the day.
Camelot, it's lovely that your colleagues supported you, hope things have settled down a bit.
Yesterday was ok, met up with friends for coffee in a local cafe.
I must go out this morning to buy and send a birthday card, meant to do this yesterday. It's for one of my grandsons in Australia. Really, it should have gone last week, but I'm ashamed to say I forgot. I always airmail them, so hope it'll get there in time.
Enjoy the museum Gers.
Hope everyone has a good day, thoughts to anyone who is not well.
Take care folks.

Morning all.
Now back from Swanage, where we had a gloriously (too) hot Saturday but our Sunday morning dance spot got cancelled due to rain. We made up for it later in the day and finished with ice creams along the front.
Have done all the washing and ironing, then the cleaners turned up unexpectedly at 4pm yesterday. I had misread their message saying tomorrow and thought they were coming the following day! Never mind, at least we have a clean house again now. They are excellent cleaners but their timing isn't always great.
Off to do my stint at the Larder in a while then straight over to be ready to pick up DGS from Reception as DD has a scan followed by a Consultant's appointment today. I have some chicken ready to pop in the oven later, which I think we'll have with salad and coleslaw.
Hope things are calmer at school for you now Camelot.
Have a good day everyone.7 -

Feels very chilly here this morning I could have stayed in bed for another hour at least. DD has come back from holiday with covid 🙄 she feels ok just very tired with a sore throat, I am testing daily atm as I work with vulnerable people so can’t be passing anything on.
Off to collect Rob today and take him to work I think I will have to wear a fleece for the first time in weeks, we will do some shopping on the way home.
Fish pie for dinner tonight with some veg I made it yesterday so it will just need heating through.
Camelot I’m glad work was better for you x
Have good days all and take care xx6 -
Morning all, nice & bright but it's only 11 deg here atm. Thanks for the start nmlcGlad you got 1 apology Camelot, hope DGD has a great time at Alton towers.Enjoy the museum Gers, & glad you had a nice time in Swanage WL, shame about the rain cancelling your dance .RR, poor DD getting covid after her trip & delayScarlet- hope DGS card gets there in time, some of ourpost seems to take ages these days.Had a poor nights sleep last night from 3am onwards pooch was scratching at her ear and mooching about. I got up and put her ear drops in, and she eventually dropped off, we were a bit later getting up.Its our 48th wedding anniversary today .True to form DH has gone to work
We were meant to go into M/cr but the restaurant we wanted to go to only opens Thurs. onwards for lunch, so he's having tomorrow off instead. He'll finish early too as we're picking DGS up from school later. He bought me a lovely orchid, and I've made him a rhubarb pie
The lady next door to where they are working gave him the rhubarb yesterday, very kind.
Will have to have a think about tea later.Yesterday DS1 wasn't at work, & needed something from Hobby place so I went too, bought a card mag that had freebies in the hope it will spark off my cardmaking mojo. Spotted my cousin in there so we got chatting, went in Dun elm tooI was going to restart swimming today after the long hols but feel a bit tired so won't bother.Hope you all have a good day whatever you're up to x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Didn't have a complete day indoors yesterday as I volunteered to take in a delivery at SA at 9.15 - 9.30 pm.
Today was SA so we were busy serving and helping.
Came home and had a visit from DGd and DGs.
Next it was off to the Dr for Mr F. He did a stool test last week and yesterday the surgery phoned to say that the Dr wanted to see him today. They found blood in the specimen so he is being referred to the hospital
