USS - Converting MPAVC savings pot to pension - how is this part indexed?

Evening,

I am just looking at retirement options for my USS pension. One part I can't find the answer to is on how any additional pension bought using my Prudential MPAVC pot (now transferred to the Investment Builder) is indexed in payment.

I found the conversion rates (under '
Factors used by USS' on the USS website) and how the base pension is indexed in payment (under 'Making your money work for you' also on the USS website) but nothing on this specific point.

As my pension has been built up over a fair few years – from 1986 – I understand that my base pension in payment will increase in different ways linked to when the corresponding contributions were made.

I can't see anything on this specifically on the forum so if anyone could point me in the right direction, before I ask the USS itself, that would be ideal.
