Stoozing and Remortgaging

We have around 15 K stoozed and I am currently considering remortgaging. Is this amount of money (all at 0%) likely to affect my chances of successful remortgaging? Is it worth paying them all off before going shopping?

Depends on your "debt"/income ratio, salary, mortgage amount, and many other factors. You'll need to post further details to get a worthwhile opinion.

First time i remortgaged i forgot about this, until i was completing the form and it asked about debt and i thought, whoops, I do have a ton of debt. So i wrote it all out, said i had the entire amount in my current account. They accepeted that (i was remortaging for 3 times salary and 65% LTV).

Now i am doing it again and have repaid all the debt this month (deals ended July anyway) and again put full details on the form of what may show up on the credit report. Hopefully be fine again, but probably best to clear them now anyway as it takes a while to show on the credit report and explain anyway on your application.
