HSBC Mortgage Offer to a New Property in 2023

Hi All,
There have been threads about this in the past (up until 2022), but I wanted to try and get some up-to-date experiences with this, given the interest rate storms.
We had an offer from HSBC in June of this year for a property at price X, but that purchase ultimately fell through due to survey issues. That mortgage offer was valid until December 20th this year.
We would now like to make an offer on an alternative house at price 0.8X, with the same Loan-to-Value ratio. From what I understand, we can ask the bank to amend and reissue the offer for this same LTV at the lower price, but what I can't get a clear answer on is whether the December 20th deadline will still be applicable or whether HSBC will give us 180 days from the reissue date (assuming they are happy to reissue).
If the 20th December deadline applies, it's unlikely we'll be able to complete in time, so just need to try and clear this up before we proceed.
Cheers

As long as you borrow the same or less then you get a new 6 month offer on the same rate as before
